Clean and Simple Cardmaking - week 2, card 1.

Kristina Werner's video in the CAS cardmaking class today was about making simple embellishments.  I used her ideas of punched circles folded to make a flower and a window to surround the flower.  I used some red gingham ribbon that I bought last year (1st use today - love it!) and decided to have the sentiment on the front of the card (unlike Kristina's), but floating over the window.
Here's what I came up with:

Thanks for visiting - have a great day :)

  5. Hi Michelle - checking in on you, since I haven't seen you muchin the last week? Hope you are fine and well and enjoyed our second week in class. I'm already having withdrawal, but knowing we can look forward to a fun class in March will be awesome.

I actually was lucky enough to have met Tim and took a class with him when he last came to my LSS! It was very cool and he's really amazing and also so friendly to all the students. I hope he comes back again sometime, but I'd ALSO love for Jennifer to come back too! They are ALL awesome!!

See you in Blogland and of course, in March when the new class starts! I'll bet we'll need some of the new goodies coming out at CHA!! More shopping!! Yippee!!

    Happy Crafting,
    Lisa

    1. Hi, Lisa - I've been away since last Tuesday singing at Opera in the Alps - I was in the choir :) http://www.australianmusicevents.com.au/opera-in-the-alps-performance-details.htm

I'm back now, but straight back to work - taking school holiday science programs - in 35 degree heat! (that's 95 Farenheit!). Kinda tired when I get home, and not in the mood for crafting. Might be able to get some cardmaking done on Friday - looking forward to watching all the videos I missed last week and adding to the gallery :)

      I hope you're well :)

  6. WoW! You are one VERY talented lady in all the arts, including Music! That's fabulous!! I had missed you and wondered why I had not seen you much in the last week of class...now I all makes sense!

Yikes..sounds HOT there....you are in Summer, we are in Winter, although we've had a really mild winter (so far), and I for one would be very happy if it continues to stay that way!!

Glad to hear you are back and hope to see you in our Next Class !! I'll keep checking the Gallery too!! I was so surprised to be a winner, but you are right...Purple Lisa, wins the Purple Onion prize...seems so right! :)
