I love Jane Austen

I love Jane Austen.  I love the books, I love the miniseries and movie adaptations, everything.  I bought the Simply Jane clear stamp set, matching dies and patterned paper from Papertrey Ink a while ago, but had not cracked them open until today, when I saw the soft and subtle colour scheme for this week's JAI challenge.

I love the effect I got from making this flower out of Crumb Cake (aka Kraft) cardstock, then misting with Perfect Pearls - the photo below shows the difference between the plain Crumb Cake and the misted flower.

  1. This is a lovely card, Michelle. The flower and ribbon treatment are gorgeous touches. Isn't this colour scheme beautiful? Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week (you're quick off the mark!).
