A new challenge blog!

A new challenge blog has begun - just yesterday!  It is called Fusion, and it looks to be really cool, and great fun! (and I particularly love the scientific terminology - they don't have challenges, they have hypotheses!!) This week, there is a sketch challenge, and a photo challenge, or you can choose to combine the two to create a fusion, which is what I did!
(I think I need to have a fiddle with the settings on my camera, or maybe photoshop - the pink flowers look coral in the photo, but they are hot pink in real life!)
It also fits in nicely with CASual Fridays challenge this week, which is chevrons and flowers.

Hmm, now I'm thinking I should have rounded the top right corner - not sure......

I hope you're having a great day!

  1. So pretty, Michelle! Love the white chevrons behind the bright flowers.

The yellow (turning your pink to coral) may be coming from your lighting. Try a daylight bulb, if you aren't already using one. If fixing in PS, try adding a touch more blue to the mix.

    1. Thanks, Michelle - I had a mix of daylight and artificial light, but I can't seem to find daylight bulbs to fit the light fitting in this room, and I have no space to set up a daylight lamp, unfortunately. Will have to fiddle around more with my camera, or PS, or both.

  13. Very cute!

Not sure if this will help because it will depend on what camera you're using, but on my Canon, on some settings (I mostly use Av) you can adjust the white balance. That will correct the color more yellow or blue depending on the lighting source. I found this web site really helpful: http://doeadeery.blogspot.ca/2013/02/5-tips-for-awesome-indoor-photos.html
