Poinsettia wreath

After making 35 cards with the holly wreath design (see my previous post HERE), I decided I needed something without colouring for the next 20 cards - my hand hurts!  So I had a look through my stamps and decided to make a poinsettia wreath, using the CASual Fridays stamp set, "Christmas Carols".
I used Hero Arts Pale Tomato, Red Royal, and soft leaf shadow inks, and Stampin' Up Wild Wasabi.  Hero Arts Hero Hues black for the sentiment, and gold Kindy Glitz for the centre of the poinsettias.

I'll be submitting this card to:
CASual Fridays Create with 8 Challenge - because each of my poinsettias has 8 red leaves. Well, technically they're bracts, for my botanist friends ;)  - and Festive Friday - Element Challenge - Wreath

  7. Beautiful card and yes, after colouring 35 cards, I can see why you needed the break. This is a perfect, festive, delightful choice for "round 2". The sparkly gold centers: lovely special touch!
