Addicted to CAS - Codeword: Oriental

This week's ATCAS codeword is "Oriental" , so I knew exactly where to start.  A couple of years ago, by bestie, Sharyne, bought me some beautiful handmade Japanese paper when she went to a trip to Japan.  It is just the most beautiful paper, I've been hoarding it!!

Many thanks to our sponsor:
Thanks for visiting :)

  1. The paper is stunning. Was it already shaped like that or did you cut it? xx

    1. Hi, Kylie - it was a single piece of paper, poster sized - I just cut off little bits when I need them! For this one, I cut around the already existing pattern on the paper. I keep thinking I should have had the paper at the bottom of the card, not the side. Might have to make another version ;)

  2. hi Michelle that paper is indeed beautiful, I adore Japanese papers so beautiful and this is no exception.

  3. This paper is gorgeous and how fabulous you got to ise it for this challenge x

  4. Beautiful card! Those papers are stunning and I love the font of the sentiment!

  5. Michelle I love your use of those Japanese papers! Lovely CAS card!

  6. Those papers are beautiful Michelle. They are so colorful and make a huge visual impact. Love how you've kept the rest of the card simple so that papers are the star. Perfect font on your card to match. Loll xx

  7. Love how you placed the focal point "off the edge" Michelle - the Japanese papers are gorgeous.

  8. This is gorgeous Michelle - so typically Japanese.

  9. Way too cool! U captured the oriental completely :)

  10. The paper is gorgeous. Love the colors and how you clustered it to the left side of all that wonderful white space. The sentiment font is perfect for the challenge, too. gorgeous
