Blue birthday card and a video

Hello, all! After making and posting my second video yesterday, I received some constructive criticism via a You Tube comment.  I decided to make another video to try to fix some of the problems. I've made a card similar to this one before, but not with these colours.  Here's the card I made:

And here's the video - with a voice-over for the whole thing, as requested, and not so dull and dark (thanks to the spring sunshine here today!)

Products used:
Canson 300gms Watercolour paper
Hero Arts/Basic Grey Highline Ironwork Background
Hero Arts Stamp&Cut Happy
Distress Markers in Blueprint Sketch, Merrmaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass
Blue cardstock and black cardstock
Simon Says Stamp clear sequins
Perfect Pearls mist
Mister Huey's mist in Gold
EK Success powder tool
Hero Arts white embossing powder

I'm joining in today with Sandy Allnock's Go for the Gold class - I used a gold spray like she did in Day 2 of class

I'll also be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, which is "Anything Goes" week

  4. LOVE how you color only a select area of the embossed image. You are a classy woman who handles criticism with regal ease!
