Red roses

I hope you're not getting sick of seeing this stamp, because I'm not about to stop using it!
I coloured the image with Copic markers, and then added a sentiment from Hero Arts. I finished with some Wink of Stella, a border of hand-drawn faux-stitching, and some sequins.

You are amazing

I love this stamp. That is all.
I used the Beautiful Flowers stamp set, and a sentiment from Thoughtful Messages, both from Simon Says Stamp. I coloured the image with Copic markers, and I finished with some sequins.

Wavy panels

Trying some different ways of using up alcohol ink backgrounds.
I added gold foil on top of the not-quite-dry alcohol ink, then cut the panel with stitched hillside borders dies from Lawn Fawn. The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink.

Butterflies over Yupo

I can't seem to get enough of adding foil over alcohol inks on Yupo.
I added some die cut butterflies from My Favorite Things, and a sentiment from Uniquely Creative Stamps.

Rainbow hello

I have a shiny, glittery, rainbow hello for you today!
I used the leftovers of a rainbow panel I made for a card last month. I die cut the "Hello" from Create a Smile, then added a liberal coat of Wink of Stella, then a thick coat of Glossy Accents. I added a white embossed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp on a strip of black cardstock, and I was done.

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC 203

Welcome to a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
I used the Full on Floral background stamp to white emboss onto watercolour cardstock, and coloured it with pink and purple Zig markers.  The sentiment is from Sassy Smiles - I inked it up in two different Hero Arts shadow inks, but then blended the middle with a coloured pencil to get a better ombre blend.

Bright sunshinin' day

I was gifted this Simon Says Stamp background stamp from a lovely crafty friend, Gayatri - thanks so much!
I teamed the background stamp up with a sentiment from Mama Elephant.
I'll be sharing this card at the Inkspirational Challenge blog.

Berry good friends for A Blog Named Hero

I have a summery card to share with you today, for the Summertime fun challenge at A Blog Named Hero

I used the "Stamp your own salad" set from Hero Arts, but I modified the sentiment stamp a bit. I removed the word "veggie" and replaced it with two stamped berries.  I cut it using the Nesting Clouds Infinity dies, and adhered it with Fun Foam over a card where I had created a rainbow using 3 Distress Oxide Inks, and the Spiral Stencil. I finished with some dew drops from Studio Katia, and a coat of Glossy Accents over the berries.

Hello, wonderful friend

I have thoroughly enjoyed taking part in Kathy Racoosin's "The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge" - I have managed to do some form of colouring every day in June, and I've had a ball!

For this card, I used the Kind Soul stamp set, coloured with Zig markers. The 2nd line of the sentiment is from the Big Thanks Words set from Simon Says Stamp.
I will be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme this week is "anything goesl".

Thanks bouquet

I love this image from Simon Says Stamp - I think you will see a lot of this stamp on my blog in the future!
I used Derwent pencils to colour the image, then did some partial fussy-cutting before adding a mat beneath, and a die-cut and white-embossed sentiment on top. I finished with some dew drops from Studio Katia.
I will be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme this week is "anything goes".

Hugs

I have another CASE today - this time, I'm CASEing Gayatri Murali. She posted a card earlier this week where she used the negative parts of a die from Simon Says Stamp. I don't have the same die, but I used the same idea - colour the negative pieces with Copic Markers, and then adhere them using the positive die as a guide.
The die is from Simon Says Stamp, and the hugs die is from Pink and Main. I coated the hugs die cut with Wink of Stella, then covered it with Glossy Accents. And, yes, this is a card with NO STAMPS! Shock horror!

Earthy tones for a masculine birthday card

I used the same turnabout stamp that I used a couple of days ago, but for a masculine look this time.
I used the Wreath Turnabout stamp set from Concord and 9th, stamped in Hero Arts shadow inks in two browns, a green and a pale orange. The whole panel was cut with the Stitched Rectangle die from Lil' Inkers designs. The birthday die is from MFT that I added over a panel of vellum, and I stamped and embossed the "happy" from Uniquely Creative.

Happy birthday bouquet

You've got to look closely at this one..... (there is a name for this technique - I just don't know what it is.)
I used the Hello Lovely bouquet from Concord & 9th, coloured with Copics, along with the Happy die set from Honey Bee Stamps, and the birthday stamp from Altenew.
I will be sharing this card at "Where Creativity meets C9" for their "sparkle and shine" challenge. It's a little bit hard to see the sparkle, but I added Wink of Stella to the Happy die cut, and then covered it with Glossy Accents to add heaps of shine.

You're one of a kind

I did some colouring with my Derwent pencils earlier this month. I don't often use coloured pencils, because I find that my hands (which get arthritis) get very tired, but I had this image stamped on kraft, and it was just calling out for coloured pencil colouring.
The stamp and "friend" die are from Studio Katia, and the stamped part of the sentiment is from Uniquely Creative stamps.

Rainbow hugs

This card is a direct CASE of a technique posted by Jennifer McGuire last week. If you want to see how it's done, you can see Jennifer's post and video HERE. (Go ahead, I'll wait!)

When I watched Jennifer's video, the first thing I did was pull out the stained glass cover plate die from Catherine Pooler, and my Copic markers. I used the clear embossing powder version of the technique rather than using Glossy Accents - I may try Glossy Accents on a smaller area, but not a whole card front. I very nearly left this with the white die cut on the top, but I decided that Jennifer is always right, so I added the silver embossing powder to the top layer and I'm glad I did!
The Friend die cut is from Studio Katia, and the stamped and embossed sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.
I will be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme this week is "bright and cheerful".

Pastel birthday wreath

This card looks a lot better in real life - the photo makes the colours look a little bit washed out instead of soft and pretty.
I used the Wreath Turnabout stamp set from Concord and 9th, stamped with Shadow Inks from Hero Arts. I then added some detail using my Derwent pencils. The word die is from Create a Smile, and the sequins are Rose Gold from Studio Katia.
I will be sharing this card at "Where Creativity meets C9" for their "sparkle and shine" challenge. The sentiment die is cut from pink glitter cardstock to give some sparkle, and the Studio Katia sequins add some shine :)

Rainbow miss you

I have one more card for you using the new Miss You Block die from the Good Vibes release from Simon Says Stamp:
You know I love rainbows! I created a rainbow using scraps of coloured cardstock, then stamped and clear embossed the Flora background stamp (also from Simon Says Stamp). I then cut the Miss You Block die from black cardstock, put a small piece of vellum behind it, and adhered it to the rainbow. Nice and CAS, but a bit of detail, too.

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC 202

Welcome to a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!

I started with a piece of plain black cardstock and added spatters and splashes of Perfect Pearls in a variety of colours. I then cut the Jumping Jacks Fri-dies from CAS-ual Fridays from a variety of colours of glitter paper, and adhered tthem to the black piece. I stamped the sentiment from the "celebrate" stamp set in versamark onto another piece of black cardstock, embossed it in gold glitter embossing powder, and adhered it with dimensional adhesive. I mounted the whole lot onto a side folding white card base.
