Fusion: Stained Glass Hearts

Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!
I made a fusion of the photo and the sketch this week. I used the Clipping Heart die from Simon Says Stamp, and cut it from 4 pieces of white cardstock and 1 piece of black. I layered the die-cuts to create a dimensional piece, and adhered it to my white card front.  I took the hearts from the centre and coloured them with Copic markers in a rainbow, then sprayed them liberally with Perfect Pearls in water, before adhering them back into the layered die cut. I then added plenty of Glossy Accents over each of the hearts to give it a stained glass look. I finished with a happy birthday sentiment white embossed onto black cardstock.
PS I made sure to let it dry overnight before photographing it - I am notoriously impatient when it comes to photographing my cards, but I could foresee a disaster if I tried standing this card upright before the Glossy Accents had set!

Make sure you check out all the rest of the inspiration at the Fusion challenge blog, and play along with your own creation!
Thanks for visiting :)
