Hugs for a friend

I can't stop making alcohol ink backgrounds, so I'm trying lots of different ways to cut them down, so that 1. I get a variety of different styles of cards, and 2. I can get multiple cards out of the same Yupo panel (because Yupo isn't the cheapest medium to use).
The alcohol ink background has some royal blue foil on it, because I need absolutely no excuse to use blue on everything.
I cut the panel with Stitched Hillside Borders dies from Lawn Fawn, then added the Friend die cut from CAS-ual Fridays and the stamped sentient is from Simon Says Stamp.
 Thanks for visiting :)

  1. I bought a huge piece of handmade paper years ago - every time I see it I'm happy. BUT that was years ago and it sets rolled up in a corner never used. Taking your card as inspiration, I will cut a 6" strip, then into shapes to make a dozen cards. That will be an excellent use for this yummy soft paper and I will still have tons left. Thanks!

  2. Oh golly, that alcohol inked piece is gorgeous! The blues are so striking and I really like your use of the hillside border die. Great way to get more shapes with the panel. The sentiment makes me smile, too. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

  3. Such a beautiful card Michele, I love what you have been doing with your alcohol inks. Trying to get myself into my craft room and doing some too as they come in so handy.
