Rainbow hugs

This card is a direct CASE of a technique posted by Jennifer McGuire last week. If you want to see how it's done, you can see Jennifer's post and video HERE. (Go ahead, I'll wait!)

When I watched Jennifer's video, the first thing I did was pull out the stained glass cover plate die from Catherine Pooler, and my Copic markers. I used the clear embossing powder version of the technique rather than using Glossy Accents - I may try Glossy Accents on a smaller area, but not a whole card front. I very nearly left this with the white die cut on the top, but I decided that Jennifer is always right, so I added the silver embossing powder to the top layer and I'm glad I did!
The Friend die cut is from Studio Katia, and the stamped and embossed sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.
I will be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme this week is "bright and cheerful".
