Challenge me a Christmas Card with Teresa Abajo

Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme, technique or product.

My guest for today is Teresa Abajo of The Tamarisk. In honour of the fact that today is Halloween, Teresa has challenged me to make a card with the theme "Creepy Christmas".

You can check out her take on the challenge HERE

Here's what I came up with:

I stamped the Christmas Tree and the gingerbread man (which I turned into mummies) from Lawn Fawn, stamped the bat from Stampin' Up, and drew the rest of the images by hand. I coloured in the tree and the ornaments, then masked it and used my Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend Distress Inks over the background. I added some splatters of water and Perfect Pearls to the background before removing the mask. The sentiment is modified from a stamp by Birch Press.

I'll be sharing this at Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday challenge where the theme this week is "Anything Goes"
