Today, I am sharing three cards I made, all very similar, but slightly different.
For this first one, I used alcohol inks in blue and green, and the sentiment dies are all white. I removed some of the ink using lift ink over a geometric stencil - you can see it if you look closely!
Fir the 2nd card, I used the same colours of ink, but added gold foil, and cut the birthday die from gold foil cardstock.
For the last one, I used alvohol inks in greens and browns, but kept the gold foil and the foil cardstock fo the sentiment.

Love all of them. I don't seem to have the luck at using the alcohol inks like you folks do. I would love to receive a card that looks like this. It would be one that would be a keeper and cherished. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat's sad you haven't had a good experience with alcohol inks...they've always been such a magical medium to play with. Seldom had a failure. I encourage you to watch some videos...especially one on Tim Holtz's FB page that he made a few months ago! With his enthusiasm, I bet you'll want to try again!
