The heart on the right looks quite red in the photo, but on the real card, it is much closer to a magenta type purple than red - trust me!

Purple, purple and more purple!!
I made this card very quickly after work tonight, with the colour inspiration from Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #10, and card sketch from Lily Pad - Lucy's lovely lines.

Combining two challenges
I made this card using a layout from Clean and Simple stamping #151 as well as a colour scheme from Just Add Ink JAI 78.
I wanted to repeat an element multiple times - so I stamped the harlequin background in Versamark on the brown card base, as well as on the sand-coloured banner, which I also clear embossed to give a bit of interest. I stamped the same design on the teal (not quite navy) edge on top of the banner, but then cut out along the edges. I then took the celery strip and embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder (Argyle.)
CASE study challenge # 50
When I first saw this challenge at CASE study, I thought, gee, I really need to buy a nice big realistic flower stamp. All my flower stamps are comparatively small. Because of this, I decided I had to do a panel on from of my card, instead of using most of the card front, like Dawn Woleslagle did on her card (see below).
I added some Crystal Effects to the flowers for a little extra detail.
Here's Dawn's inspiration card - so lovely:

Moxie Fab challenge
I made this card using inspiration from Moxie Fab World challenge - "squares to cherish". I was inspired by the crocheted granny squares, and by the colours. Here's my take:
The Play Date cafe challenge #92
I made this card today for The Play Date Cafe Challenge # 92. The colours to use were coral, petal pink and antique gold. I decided to use one of my favourite card designs - one that I've used many times before (you can see an earlier incarnation here).
Anyway, here 'tis:
I've included the following close up, to show the shine on the embossed medallion stamp, the gold embossing on the sentiment, and the detail of the gold liquid pearls and glitter.

And here are the photos from The Play Date Cafe that I used for colour inspiration.
