The Play Date cafe challenge #92

I made this card today for The Play Date Cafe Challenge # 92.  The colours to use were coral, petal pink and antique gold.  I decided to use one of my favourite card designs - one that I've used many times before (you can see an earlier incarnation here).

Anyway, here 'tis:

I've included the following close up, to show the shine on the embossed medallion stamp, the gold embossing on the sentiment, and the detail of the gold liquid pearls and glitter.

And here are the photos from The Play Date Cafe that I used for colour inspiration.

  1. This is absolutely stunning, Michelle! I've never been a fan of one-layer cards, but you've nailed this one! WOW! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Play Date Cafe!

  2. Super elegant design! Love that medallion stamp and the fact that you embossed it highlights it marvelously! Beautiful gold accents and wonderful sentiment~! Thanks for playing along with us at the Play Date Cafe!

  3. OHHH! What a great technique to use with that medallion! Beautiful! Thanks so much for joining in the fun and playing along with us over at the PDCC!

Thank you so much for your comments - they always make my day!
