Using Ardyth's LIMES technique: 

List:  Mixed media, teal, pink, purple, starfish, shell, seahorse and fish, hearts, purple sentiment, white border, white stenciling, black text in background

Include: Mixed media, teal, pink, purple, white border, white stenciling

Modify: black sentiment, white music notation in background

Exclude: starfish, shell, seahorse and fish, hearts

Spin: Christmas!

Mixed media for Paper Rose

 Today, I'm sharing a pair of mixed media cards I made using products from Paper Rose Studio.

I created a single mixed media panel and cut it down to create two cards. I started by ink blending some distress inks onto a panel of Strathmore Bristol cardstock. I then stamped onto it with the Beautiful Mandala stamp and the Text Background stamp. I then added some ink through the Small Drops stencil, glitter paste through the Flowy Leaves stencil, and pearl texture paste through the Leafy Circle Lattice stencil. I cut the panel to fit my card with a little white border around the edge, added a white die cut (Feather trio dies on one card and the Lyla Butterfly die on the other) and a printed sentiment from Black and White Sentiments.

 I am SOOOO excited to be X-Press It Australia's Creator for October! 

They sent me an amazing box full of heaps of different products - I will be sharing cards throughout the month using various different media, surfaces, tapes, adhesives, foils - the list goes on!

On these two cards, I used X-press it watercolour paper, and I created a mixed media background using watercolour powders, a stencil, rub-on transfers and some pastes from Hero Arts, plus some X-press It gold size and silver flakes. The sentiments are from X-press It Deco Foil kits.
