Welcome back to my series, "Challenge me a Christmas card"! I asked my
friends, family, workmates, choirmates (anyone really) to set me a
challenge for a Christmas card. It could be a colour, a theme, a
subject, a technique, anything!
My cardmaking friend in Germany, Christine Drogt (owner of
Create a Smile Stamps), challenged me to make a tag with silver embossing, and my workmate, Trisha, challenged me to use a non-traditional colour scheme (her suggestion was silver and purple). I went with a mash-up of both.
This one was quite hard to photograph - partly because of the glitter "merry", and partly because of the unusual dimensions - long and narrow.
I will be sharing this project at
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge - the theme is Christmas to die for (ie use die cuts)
I'll also be sharing this card at
Time Out challenge, where the theme is Christmas with an optional
twist of glitter or shimmer.
Thanks for visiting me for my "Challenge me a Christmas Card" series - I'll be back with another challenge card soon!
