I'm on a bit of a rainbow kick this month - and a rainbow background often means I can go monochrome on the focal point!

I am still making use of backgrounds I created in the most recent Online Card Class!

The new challenge at Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero is all about friendship ("I'll be there for you" is the theme song to the TV show "Friends".)
The Hero Arts Global Team is hoping on Instagram today! I created this CAS card with some white texture in the background.
Today, I'm sharing a card using dies and an embossing folder from Paper Rose Studio
I started with the Handstitching 2 embossing folder and some white cardstock. I then blended some distress oxide inks over the panel, cut it down and adhered it to a white card base. I cut the butterflies from some more white cardstock and blended some pink ink to the tips of the wings, and cut the Hand Lettered Thanks word die and blended it with purple and blue ink. I adhered these to the embossed panel, and finished with some bubble bath embellishments.
I'm almost out of birthday cards, so I will be on a birthday card making kick for a while. I made 10 of these today.
This month, the challenge at A Blog Named Hero is "repetition", so I did some masking with the Color Layering Monarch Butterfly.
Today, I'm sharing 4 cards I made using new butterfly stencils from Picket Fence Studios' May release.
And I made a video to show you how I made them!

I have a quick card to share for Paper Rose today.
I started with a panel of Yupo that I added some cobalt blue alcohol ink and bronze coloured alcohol ink alloy to. I cut the butterfly die from Paper Rose from some metallic bronze cardstock from my stash, then added it with a sentiment to the centre of the card. I then stuck the whole panel to a white card base.
