The newest challenge at A Blog Named Hero is "Texture". My favourite way to add texture is to use Paper Glaze from Picket Fence Studios, so I went with an ombre look.
I used the Glorious Petal Stencil from Hero Arts, along with the Big Hugs Stamp & Cut set.
A Blog Named Hero has recently moved to Instagram! If you want to enter

Thanks for visiting :)It's day 4 of the current Online Card Class. I used Jennifer's idea of scrunching up some cardstock to give it some texture. I added some Perfect Pearls spray to the pink and green pieces behind the J and Y in the die cut window, as well as some Paper Glitz mixed with water flicked onto the green and pink cardstock. I added some texture to the pink and green panels in the background with an embossing folder.
Just popping by with a card I made using some products from Picket Fence Studios
It's release day at Picket Fence Studios! There's new stamps and dies, but you know I have a soft spot for stencils, and I've used stencils on every card I'm sharing today!
This card uses the Centre Flower stencil, with the "you are the best" word die.
This card makes a feature of the Thank you word die, with stencil in the background. I finished with a sentiment white embossed onto black cardstock.
This elegant card uses the Slim Line centre flower stencil, along with a sentiment from the Fancy congratulations set (a new favourite of mine, along with all of the other Fancy Sentiments sets) - it also comes with matching dies, which are a game changer! I also used one of the new Paper Glazes from last month's release - I paired it with two older paper glaze colours to get an ombre look across the card.
My mum thinks this card looks like a mask. I wasn't particularly going for that look, but if Karma could kick Covid in the teeth, that would be nice!
Today, I'm sharing a card for Picket Fence Studios.

Welcome to Case me a Christmas Card for 2020 - a slight variation on my annual Challenge me a Christmas Card blog series!
From
October to December, I will link to a series of guest cardmakers on my
blog. I will CASE one of their cards, and they will CASE one of mine!
CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything - but it's not about just
copying a card. It's about getting inspiration from cardmaking friends,
but making a new card that is our own. And, of course, the card we each
make has to be a Christmas card!
Today, my guest is Kimberly Wiener! I have CASEd one of her cards that you can check out HERE.
All of the products I used are linked below :)
This is the card I Cased:
Ardyth came up with a genius acronym to help you make a Case of a card without making a direct copy of it - LIMES. I am going to be using this acronym for all my Cases from now on:
List: Cake with pink flowers, pale blue ink-blended background, white floral diecuts, black stamped sentimentInclude: black sentiment, white die cuts, pink flower, blue ink-blended background
Modify: much larger pink flower, snowflake die cuts
Exclude: cake, floral die cuts
Spin: Christmas card!
Kimberly has also Cased one of my card - you can check hers out HERE!
