Today, I'm sharing a card using a large sentiment die from Paper Rose.
I created the background for this card using a technique I learned in an online retreat with Lydia Fiedler of Understand Blue. I started with black synthetic cardstock, and added a few drops of white alcohol mixative and blending fluid. I added a couple of drops of blue and pink alcohol ink over the top of the white, and then spread out the puddle of mixed inks with a spray can of compressed air. Before it dried completely, I smoothed a sheet of Minc foil over the top, which adhered to the parts that were still tacky.I cut the panel down to just smaller than my white card base, then cut the Hugs and Kisses die from white cardstock and adhered it over the alcohol ink panel. I used the negative piece of the die cut to line up the letters and the hearts perfectly.
