Sometimes, I get friends of mine to challenge me (kind of like Craft Roulette!) - this time, I was challenged to use Gina K products, and with the theme of black, white, and a pop of purple.

I sometimes (*often) get stuck for ideas, and I ask my crafty friends to challenge me to make something. For this card, I was challenged to use something floral from Concord & 9th, and make it pastel.
Today, I'm sharing a bright card I made using the One Go: Friendship Flowers from Altenew. I love that this sent includes a stencil that masks off all of the flowers so that you can ink up the background!
I added some opaque white platter to the background before I removed the mask, and then added a betterpress sentiment, which I matted onto some Smoky Quartz glitter paper for a bit of bling!

Today, I'm sharing a fun fold card I made using the Rainbow Village collection. I'm sure this type of fun fold has a name, but I have no idea what it is! Basically, you make a Z fold card that is normal sized, then make another Z fold card that is a bit less than half the height of your original card, but then turn the small one upside down before adhering it to the original card.
My nephew Thomas' birthday was last month, and I gave him a perspex block of the periodic table with little mini samples of each element (excluding the radioactive ones!). I decided to make a card to match - the only problem is that the letter M only appears in the periodic table in Mg, Mn, Md, Mt, Mo and Mc, which are not helpful when spelling the name Thomas! I used letter dies from Hero Arts and stamps from Concord & 9th.
