I was asked to make a card for a friend of a friend, and she asked for a musical themed baby card for baby Allegra. I used the December 2022 My Monthly Hero kit, along with the December 2023 My Monthly Hero kit, plus the letter A-D Fancy Dies and the Collage Backgrounds Hero Transfers set.

Friendship mouse for Paper Rose

 Today, I'm sharing a card for Paper Rose Studio.

I stamped and coloured the Friendship Mouse image on a piece of white cardstock, and then stamped the sentiment from Super Day Sentiments. I partially cut the left side of the panel and fussy cut the edges of the raindrops and the flower. I swiped the left side of a white card base with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink, and adhered the stamped and coloured panel onto the card base.

Birthday floral

 Back in December, some crafty friends came over for a crafty day (who am I kidding, it was a tiny bit of crafting and a hell of a lot of chatting!) We each made backgrounds - enough to share with each of us - so we could go home and make something, and we could compare what we made!

 One of the backgrounds I was given (thank you, Donna!) was a white embossed panel. I added some ink blending, cut it down, and used it as a partial background on this card (the gold mirror cardstock makes it so difficult to photograph straight on!)

This month's My Monthly Hero release includes products to make some very romantic cards! I wanted to use the layering stencils from the kit, and I went with a colour scheme of pinks and browns, and then I wanted to use the chandelier as well. But when I put the glittery chandelier onto the stenciled background, it got a bit lost, so I decided to add a vellum flap, so that the chandelier became the star of the show!

You're the sweetest for Paper Rose

 Today, I'm sharing a card for Paper Rose.

I stamped and cut out the three cupcake images from "Hey Cupcake", and coloured with with Copic markers. I cut a piece of patterned paper from the Peony Garden paper pack, adhered it on an angle to a top folding white card base, and cut off the excess. I adhered the cupcakes (two of them with foam adhesive), stamped the sentiment, and added some faux stitching with a white gel pen.

The new release from Spellbinders today includes the most gorgeous Betterpress plate! Santa brought me a Betterpress for Christmas, and I've been playing with it so much since then! This plate also comes with a coordinating layering stencil set - I didn't use it on today's card, but I will share some cards using the stencils very soon! On this card, I watercoloured the image using Distress Watercolor pencils. This card also uses a sentiment from a new Betterpress sentiment set that I absolutely adore!
