Australian CSPC: Published Part 3

These are the last three cards I had published in the most recent Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine.
For all three cards, I went with a non-traditional Chistmas colour scheme of pink, turquoise and purple.
You've seen me use this "Happy Owlidays" stamp set from Winne & Walter in my Challenge me a Christmas Card series (the challenge was "owls" and my guest was Karren Johnson) - if you missed it, you can check it out HERE.
On this last one, the little birdie's hat looks red, but, trust me, it's pink.

Australian CSPC: Published Part 2

This is another card I had published in the latest Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine - this one was for the Colourful Christmas special feature.
I used a stencil from Winnie and Walter along with a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks. I added a sentiment from Avery Elle, and die cut snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp.

Australian CSPC: Published part 1

I recently had a bunch of cards published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine - I will be sharing these in a few posts over the next week or so.

These two cards were made as part of the stampers challenge, using the Mint Wishes stamp set from Kaiser Craft.
To add shine and dimension to the baubles, I coloured them to make them look round, then added a coat of Wink of Stella, then a coat of Glossy Accents, so they really look three-dimensional!

For the 2nd card, I used the stamps of leaves that the baubles are hanging from in the first card to create a Christmas tree, then added a bunch of enamel dots as baubles.

Cards published!

I recently had three cards published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft Magazine! Yay!
I started with a piece of watercolour cardstock, and stamped the My Favorite Things Floral Fantasy background stamp in Versamark and white embossed it. I added some colour with Zig clean color real brush markers, and blended with water.  I then cut the panel into three separate pieces for three separate cards! All three cards had sequins from Pretty Pink Posh as a finishing touch.
For this card, I let the colour bleed out from the edge of the stamped image, then cut the piece of watercolour paper to be the same size as the card front. I added a sentiment from the "Kind Soul" set from Wplus9.
For the next card, I cut a circle of the coloured panel using a stitched circle die from Lil' Inkers Designs. I added a sentiment from Wplus9 to some vellum, and attached it with some adhesive hidden behind the stamped sentiment.
For the third card, I decided to slice a bit of the right side of the leftover panel so that the negative space was asymmetrical on the card, and open on the right so that I had a bit more space to stamp the sentiment onto the card front.

Hummingbirds from Darkroom Door

I recently had some cards published in the Australian Cardmarking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine, using stamps from Darkroom Door.

This first card was on the cover!!
I used Zig markers to colour in the stamps, before spraying the stamps with Perfect Pearls mist and stamping onto watercolour cardstock.
For this second card, I stamped in Versamark, and then added different colours of Perfect Pearls powders - this card has a lovely sheen to it that is very difficult to photograph.

I've been published again!

Hello! Just a short post today to let you know that I have a few cards in the latest issue of the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine (Vol 23, No 6).

For these first two, I used white embossing and watercolouring with Zigs. These were submitted quite a while ago, and they are the first two cards I ever made using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers!  I don't know what I would do without my Zigs now!
I used the Hello Lovely stamp set from Concord & 9th, and dies from Avery Elle.

I also had a card as part of the "All About Food" special feature - I used stamps from Hero Arts.

 Thanks for visiting :)

Hugs

Hello!  I have a card to share with you today that was published in the February edition of Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft for their "ways to use your small dies" feature. Here's what I came up with:
I know, I know! No stamps or inks to be seen!  All I used was cardstock, dies, adhesive and a white gel pen, plus some Wink of Stella.
I actually made a different version at the time, and I had Valentine's Day in mind, but I didn't submit that one because the magazine was to be published after Feb 14th. Here it is, anyway.
When I made it, I made it in the same orientation as the first one, but now I think I prefer it on it's side, so that "hugs" is immediately legible.  What do you think?

Poinsettias and foil

I recently had these two cards published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine. I used the poinsettia stamp from Hero Arts (which should look VERY familiar if you've been visiting my blog a bit lately!), some Heidi Swapp Minc paper and foil, and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.
