For my birthday last month, my brother and sister and their families sent me a lovely arrangement of flowers. The flowers were in an oversized teacup, and the whole thing arrived in a white hatbox. You know when you have boxes ,you need to get rid of them, right? But you also know that sometimes, you can't, because it's a good box, right? Well, this was the situation I was in - it was a good box, I didn't have a particular use for it, BUT IT WAS A GOOD BOX!!!! So I had to do something about it. I got out my Christmas Holiday Basics 12x12 paper from Paper Rose, my paper trimmer, glue, and some red glitter paper from my stash, and I got busy!
(there's a pic of the original box at the end)
Today, I'm sharing a trio of cards I made using the Campfire Tales collection from Paper Rose Studio.
Today, I'm sharing a fun fold card I made using the Rainbow Village collection. I'm sure this type of fun fold has a name, but I have no idea what it is! Basically, you make a Z fold card that is normal sized, then make another Z fold card that is a bit less than half the height of your original card, but then turn the small one upside down before adhering it to the original card.
Today, I am sharing a window-front card using the Heart and Home collection from Paper Rose. The right side of the card front is an acetate panel is acetate, with the gingham panel and an extra surprise on the inside of the card.

Today, I'm sharing a card I made using the modern Poppies stamp from Paper Rose Studio. I coloured it with Copic markers and Derwent pencils, and layered it over some deep berry cardstock embossed with the Floral Garden 3d embossing folder.
