Autumnal birthday card

Today, I'm sharing a simple masculine birthday card for Paper Rose Studio.

I made an autumnal pattern using leaves from Leaf and Element Builder, with a range of ink colours. I finished with a printed sentiment from All Occasions Sentiment Sheets.

Fusion - Mother's Day

Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!

I used a tag from Heidi Swapp/Minc, foiled with hot pink foil. I then stenciled over it using a Tim Holtz stencil, tied a ribbon and twine to the top, and used a stencil from Simon Says Stamp for the background.

Make sure you check out all the rest of the inspiration at the Fusion challenge blog, and play along with your own creation!

Case me a Christmas Card with Hannelie Bester

Welcome to Case me a Christmas Card for 2020 - a slight variation on my annual Challenge me a Christmas Card blog series!

From October to December, I will link to a series of guest cardmakers on my blog. I will CASE one of their cards, and they will CASE one of mine! CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything - but it's not about just copying a card. It's about getting inspiration from cardmaking friends, but making a new card that is our own. And, of course, the card we each make has to be a Christmas card!

Today, my guest is Hannelie Bester. I have CASEd one of her cards that you can check out HERE

All of the products I used are linked below :)

This is the card I Cased:

Ardyth came up with a genius acronym to help you make a Case of a card without making a direct copy of it - LIMES. I am going to be using this acronym for all my Cases from now on:

List: Strawberries, border images on left and right, layered die cut sentiment with ink blending, stamped sentiment, watercolouring

Include: border images, layered die cut sentiment with ink blending

Modify: colours, enamel dots

Exclude: strawberries, stamped sentiment, watercolouring

Spin: layered stamping

Hannelie also made a Case of one of my cards - you can check it out HERE
