Favourites of 2017
Sunday, 31 December 2017
We've reached the end of another crafty year.
In terms of my style, not much has changed since last year.
I still love my blues and greens
And I still love a rainbow
I still love flowers and leaves
I still love using background stamps
And I still love using stencils and masks
And this year, I have fallen in love with my Zig clean color real brush markers!
I always love making Christmas cards
And some cards I like just because!
Thanks for your kind comments and support and, as always, thanks for visiting :)

Guest Designer Week 4
Thursday, 28 December 2017
Hello! I'm excited today to be playing along one more time with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge as a guest designer!
The challenge this week is Anything Goes, and we're playing with products from Lawn Fawn!
My cousin, Julie and her husband, Nick, are expecting their first baby in the new year, so I made this card for them.
I used the Small Stitched Circles Stackables dies to create the windows, then added Distress Oxide blending behind the windows. I stamped, die cut and coloured the little animals from Lawn Fawn's "Hello Baby" with the matching dies.
Make sure you visit the challenge blog - click on the image below...
There's a $50 gift voucher to be won each week!

Happy birthday flowers
Tuesday, 26 December 2017
I made this birthday card for my sister, whose birthday was last month.
I used the Floral Fantasy background stamp from My Favorite things, white embossed onto watercolour paper, then coloured with Zig clean color real brush markers and a spray of water. I cut the panel in half on an angle and attached it to a white card base with a strip of glitter paper and a sentiment from Wplus9.

Using up more Christmassy leftovers
Sunday, 24 December 2017
I had a piece of Yupo with alcohol ink on it from a card I made in November - I couldn't let it go to waste - so I made a card with the opposite layout to the first one!
I added a sentiment from Clearly Besotted along with a strip of gold cardstock and some Hero Arts sequins.

Congratulations

My aunt and uncle recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, and two friends of my parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, so I made two copies of this card:
Can you see? NO STAMPS. NO INK. Just die cuts. (I must be unwell!)
I used a stitched rectangle from Lil' Inkers, the heart is from Hero Arts, and the congratulations is from Avery Elle.
