Challenge me a Christmas Card with Kelly Latevola

Welcome! Last year, I did a series on my blog where I asked people to set me a Christmas card challenge. This year, I'm stepping it up a notch, by asking crafty friends to join me!
How cool is this graphic!! My crafty friend, Kylie Purtell, made it especially for me! YAY!  You can check out her blog HERE.

Today, the challenge theme is Glow in the Dark

My special guest today is Kelly Latevola  - you can check out her take on this challenge HERE, and she has a video on her You Tube channel!

Here's my take:

And I made a video!

PS after I finished the video, but before I photographed the card, I added some Wink of Stella to every second stripe on the tree, to the lights on Blitzen and to Rudolph's bow tie.

P.S. There is ONE MORE DAY to leave a comment on THIS POST from November 26th to be in with a chance to win a voucher from Poppy Stamps!

Thanks for visiting :)

  1. Michelle, love this card and the pink sky is just a perfect finish. I keep looking at these lights for the cards and trying to tell myself I dont want them but then people keep tempting me. This is so so cute, I love it.

  4. What an adorable card, love the light part, I watched the video and you are so funny!! I think you should of left it unedited, really I know a few people who don't edit their videos and first it is nice to know that you designers that make these stunning cards make mistakes like we do, lol and second it is a lot funnier watching it when you do make as you said those "boo boo's" and slip out a swear word or two or ten, lol. Believe it or not we are at home saying those same swear words, I don't swear EXCEPT when I am card making or scrapbooking, isn't that funny, I think it's actually impossible to make a card without swearing, at least a complicated one, lol. Anyways thanks for sharing a awesome card and video, I enjoyed yours and Kelly's. Tracey Magner.

    1. Thanks, but I doubt many people would want to watch a card video that went for 80 minutes! LOL!
