The Stay Crafty challenge for May is "Tea for two" - you could make a card with two things on it, but you could also make two cards for the price of one. I stamped this floral image once, cut the panel in half, and made two rainbow cards from the one stamped image.

Last week, I invited my friend Melissa over for a crafty afternoon. I first met Melissa at choir in 2017, but we only really got to know each other when our choir started zoom rehearsals in 2020. Melissa has been a crafter for years, but she got into cardmaking just over a year ago, and she has jumped in head first!
I recently bought the Simon Hurley Stamping Foam, so Melissa and I had heaps of fun using background stamps and embossing folders to create texture, and then stamped the texture using Hero Arts reactive inks onto watercolour paper. We ended our day with a handful of backgrounds ready to be made into cards, so we planned to make a bunch of cards and share them on the same day on Instagram. You can find Melissa's post HERE and mine HERE! (I can't wait to see Melissa's cards!)
Online Card Class - Holiday card workshop 2022, day 3. I did a slightly modified version of the technique demonstrated by Kelly Taylor.
For the card on the left, I smooshed ink directly from my ink pads through the stencil onto the watercolour paper, but made a point of covering the actual stencil with ink. I sprayed the stencil while it was on the paper, the carefully lifted the stencil and moved my paper off to the side to dry. I then put a 2nd piece of watercolour paper down onto the stencil and pressed to make sure I picked up ink from all over the stencil. When I lifted it, I realized there was enough ink left to do it again, so I did!

I made this card during a live video on the Hero Arts Facebook page.
And I made a video!
There's a new challenge at Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero starting today. The theme is "By the Sea", so you could make something that has images to do with the ocean or the seaside, or you could use a watery technique. I did both on this card, and I added one more technique that is related to the ocean - I used salt!
