Fusion: Christmas
Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!
I used a stamp from Lawn Fawn coloured with Copic markers. I cut around the white panel, leaving the tree hanging off the bottom right edge to match the sketch. I added white gel pen to the tree to look like snow. I then added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped and clear embossed a background stamp from Catherine Pooler onto a pale green notecard from Hero Arts, and added some Wink of Stella for shine. I added some faux stitching around the edge of the panel, and pooped it up on foam adhesive.
Make sure you check out all the rest of the inspiration at the Fusion challenge blog, and play along with your own creation!

Challenge me a Christmas Card with Jessica Frost Ballas
Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas
by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme,
technique or product.
My guest for today is Jessica Frost Ballas of All the Sparkle. Jessica has challenged me to make a card with this colour scheme:
You can check out her take on the challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I used the Winter Floral Mix background stamp from Simon Says Stamp, white embossed onto Neenah Solar WHite cardstock. I coloured the image with Copic markers, and then sprayed the panel with Frost White Fantastix ink mixed with rubbing alcohol to try to mimic the frost on the colour scheme image. I stamped and white embossed the sentiment onto a burgundy card base, and I then cut the stamped and coloured panel on an angle and adhered it to the card base.
Thanks for visiting :)

Challenge me a Christmas Card with Laura Bassen
Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas
by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme,
technique or product.
My guest for today is Laura Bassen of laurafadora. Laura has challenged me to make a rainbow Christmas card with emboss resist.
You can check out her take on the challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I started my stamping and white embossing the holly leaves and berries from Annabelle Stamps into a wreath (sadly, this company is no longer). I painted over the images with a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks, making the colour more intense inside the leaves and the berries. I added a layered die cut sentiment from Paper Rose Studio (3 layers with glitter paper from Simon Says Stamp as the top layer) and a glitter border using a die from Altenew. I finished by adding some more shimmer with a Wink of Stella brush over the leaves and berries.

Italian Twist from Picket Fence Studios
The November release from Picket Fence Studios has a great mix of cute, elegant and fun stamps, stencils and dies - I used one of each on this card!
I started with a white card base and used the Basket Weave Stencil and Life Changing Blender Brushes with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I mounted the sentiment on a curve onto an acrylic block and stamped it in black hybrid ink.
I used the "Italian Twist" stamp along with its matching die, coloured the image with copic markers and added a peacock feather from "Let's Shake Our Tail Feathers" to her hair. I finished with some bling on her hair decoration.

Muted tones at A Blog Named Hero
The new challenge at A Blog Named Hero is "muted tones" - these aren't colours I normally gravitate to, so instead of muted, I went pastel (muted = pale, right??)
I used the Hello stamp & cut set, along with the Flower Garden Fancy Die from Hero Arts.

Release day at Picket Fence Studios
I feel like the November release from Picket Fence Studios will really appeal to crafters who like making cards for fellow crafters!
I used the "I work for Watercolor" stamp set, coloured with Zig markers, along with the matching die, and the Moroccan Tiles stencil. I felt it needed a bit more, so I added glossy accents over the paint colours.
For my 2nd card, I used the "One Year Older" stamp set - I stamped and white embossed the little fishies onto watercolour cardstock, then painted over and around them with Distress Ink.
I added a sentiment from the same set, and mounted the panel onto a navy card base. I finished with some little glass droplets, some faux stitching with white gel pen and some Stickles over the fish.

Color Throwdown 569 Guest Designer
Hello again! I'm here as a guest designer for Color Throwdown for November - here's this week's colour scheme:
Here's what I came up with:
I used the Floral Garden stamp from Studio Katia, white embossed onto watercolour cardstock, and then watercoloured it with Zig markers. I cut the panel down and added some purple cardstock strips bordering the panel, and added a stamped and die cut sentiment from Paper Rose. I blended some purple ink over the purple cardstock before cutting the "beautiful" word die, so that it is slightly shaded towards the bottom, and I also added some Wink of Stella.

Challenge me a Christmas Card with Debbie Pamment
Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas
by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme,
technique or product.
My guest for today is Debbie Pamment of Debbie P's Place. Debbie has challenged me to make a card with the theme "Christmas Windows".
You can check out her take on the challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I actually googled a whole lot of Christmas Window themes from shops around the world (Myer, Macy's, that kind of thing) to get a specific theme for this card, but in the end, I decided to go with a night-time view outside a window with a Christmas tree from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment on the windowsill is from Simon Says Stamp. When I was almost done, I decided to make this into a shaker card. using little sparkly gems from Studio Katia.

25 Days of Christmas Tags for Picket Fence Studios
Hello! Today is a special event - the Design Team at Picket Fence Studios is taking part in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags event!
There are heaps of prizes to be won from heaps of sponsors
Here's my tag:
I used the snow globe image from "The Season of Giving" along with the matching die from Picket Fence Studios. I coloured the image with my Derwent pencils, and I used partial diecutting to make it into a tag - I hand cut the little tag piece at the top, and added a red cord.
