Challenge me a Christmas Card with Cecilia Hsieh

Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme, technique or product.

My guest for today is Cecilia Hsieh of Cecilia's Cards. Cecilia has challenged me to make a card with ornaments.

You can check out her take on the challenge HERE

Here's what I came up with:

I used the Radiant Ornament layering die from Birch Press to cut two pieces of white card and a top layer of white glitter cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I added the Joy sentiment, also from Birch Press. I adhered this to a card made from metallic blue cardstock, onto which I had clear embossed a holly background from Inkadinkadoo. I used my life changing blender brushes to add some Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink around the edges to bring out the clear embossing, and added a white frame using a die from Altenew.

 Thanks for visiting :)
