Challenge me a Christmas Card with Lyndal Higgins
My guest for today is Lyndal Higgins of Ideas and Paper. has challenged me to make a card using die cutting and fussy cutting.
You can check out her take on the challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I took out the "Happy Christmas" die set from Simon Says Stamp, which cuts out the words and also a narrow shadow. I cut these from glitter cardstock and black, and then layered these onto a pastel rainbow of cardstock, fussy cutting each layer as I went (I even used a craft knife to cut out some of the purple layer between the letters to let some pink show through). I adhered this to a white card with a stripe of glitter cardstock behind it.
Thanks for visiting :)
