Today, I'm sharing a rainbow birthday card for Paper Rose Studio. I started by creating the rainbow background, using Alcohol Pearls on Yupo. I then used the Folk Flowers stencil to add some white texture paste to the background. I finished with a stamped sentiment that I white embossed onto black cardstock.

The card I posted yesterday was a bit outside my comfort zone - both because it was a 5x7 card, and because it had 3D elements, and because it had SO MANY 3D elements!
This card uses the same die set from Spellbinders, but is much more my style!

The current Stay Crafty Challenge with A Blog Named Hero is all about making the sentiment the star. I try to do that by having no other image on the card - that doesn't mean you can't have a colourful card! You don't have much longer to join in, so visit the Hero Arts blog for your chance to win!
