The challenge at A Blog Named Hero this month is Gold - for my first card, I used gold glitter paper, gold cardstock, and gold embossing, so for this card, I used gold foil.

Today, I'm using another die set from the recent Peacock Paradise release from Spellbinders. (The metallic navy blue cardstock is from my stash, I don't know where it came from, I'm sorry!) I added some gold wax from @heroarts to the raised parts of the embossed background pattern for some extra detail.

The new release from Spellbinders includes some detailed emboss and cut folders - I decided to colour this "Mushrooms from me to you" with Copic markers and, unusually for me, I made a shaped card!

The latest release from Spellbinders includes a die set filled with laboratory equipment, which is right up my alley (I trained in science - bona fide science nerd, right here!). I didn't have any sentiments that would fit a card set in a science lab, but babies are sometimes conceived in a test tube, so I made a baby card!
