Leftover background panel

During the most recent Online Card Class, Jennifer McGuire demonstrated a technique using lots of ink and a baby wipe. The technique results in two background panels - this was the 2nd!

The sentiment dies are discontinued, but any birthday sentiment die could be substituted.

 Day 10 of Stenciled 2 at Online Card Classes had a lesson from Yana Smakula. I've just purchased the die she used in her card, but it hasn't arrived yet, but this blossom die from Paper Rose fit the bill perfectly!

Online Card Classes: Stenciled 2 day 8

 

I had a bit of a setback in completing my homework for Online Card Classes (it's difficult to make cards while wearing a brace on your hand) but I'm catching up now!

I made these two cards following Jennifer McGuire and Shari Carroll's lessons on Day 8. 

 I used a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop on this card that is sadly discontinued

Online Card Class: Stenciled 2 Day 7

Online Card Classes Stenciled 2 Day 7 was about using stamps with stencils. 

My first two cards are from Jennifer McGuire's lesson using emboss resist:

Online Card Class: Stenciled 2 Day 6

Day 6 was all about dry embossing with stencils. For Kristina Werner Hansen's class, I pulled out a stencil from Tim Holtz that I haven't used in a VERY long time.

For Caly Person's class, I used a mandala stencil from Paper Rose in the background and some flowers and a die cut sentiment from Altenew over the top.

Day 4 of the current Online Card Class was about layering stencils. Jennifer McGuire used layering stencils on coloured cardstock, and Dawn Woleslagle used foiling on one of her stencil layers. 

I don't have a very large selection of layering stencils, so I used what I had!

Online Card Class Stenciled 2: Day 3

Day three of the current Online Card Class was about layering stencils, and was taught by Kristina Werner and Mindy Eggen. 

I discovered that every tub of coloured glitter paste in my collection has dried up (and I mean totally), so I coloured my clear glitter paste with alcohol inks for this card.
