Online Card Class: Stenciled 2 Day 1

I am a hard core Online Card Class fan. I think I've taken all of their classes, so I was very excited to see a new stencil class!

Day 1 was about making good use of single stencils. I flipped this Floral Heart stencil from Funky Fossil Designs into the four corners of my card and stenciled them in 4 different colours. I then added some extra detail with the Hero Arts Script stencil as well. I finished with the frames die from Altenew, the Handwritten Hello die from Simon Says Stamp, and the Tiny Words stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

On this card, I used the Sunrise Radiating Rays stencil from My Favorite Things, and sentiment dies from Hello Bluebird (both are, sadly, discontinued)

Online Card Class - Day 7

Laurie Willison's class in today's Online Card Class shows how to use both the positive space and the negative space of a word die on two cards. I have a few dies like the one Laurie used, but I thought I would try using one of my favourite types of word die - one that has a word and its shadow.

For my first card, I used the the Hello word die from Picket Fence - I used both dies at the same time to cut a window from the card front as well as the word. I also cut them both from Fun Foam so I could pop them up (adhering the cardstock to the fun foam for those little itty bits in the middle of the letters h, e and l was excellent fun - not!) I used the Petal Burst stencil from Funky Fossil Design and my Life Changing Blender Brushes to add a rainbow of Distress Oxide ink.

For my 2nd card, I used the Flowers Stencil along with the negative of the word die. I finished both cards with some clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used a stencil from Funky Fossil Designs, inked in a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks, and added a stamped sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.  Some sequins finished the card.

I recently bought a few stencils from Sarah Gray at Funky Fossil Designs on Folksy.

I added colour over the stencil with Distress Oxide inks. I kept this card as a one-layer card with a sentiment from Gina K Design.

Stenciled Valentine's card

I recently ordered some stencils from Sarah Gray at Funky Fossil Designs on Folksy - I decided to make a Valentine's Day card with this heart shaped stencil.

I used Distress Oxide inks over the stencil, then added Perfect Pearls powder over the top. I added a sentiment from Reverse Confetti.

I'll be sharing this at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is "Have a Heart".
