Pink flower garden birthday

I got this cover die from Hero Arts a couple of months ago - I've used it a fair few times, but realised I hadn't posted any cards using it!

I made a yupo panel with alcohol pearls then added a white die cut over the top. I finished with a white embossed sentiment, also from Hero Arts.

Autumn leaves

When I saw this stamp set from Ink Blot Shop, I couldn't resist!

I coloured the leaves with autumnal colours of Copic markers, and added a sentiment from Wplus9.

Beautiful day

I've had this stamp set called "Beautiful Day" from Altenew on my wish list for a while now. I will be using Copics with it in the future, but I thought I would try the layering stamps for my first card using this set.

I used the ink sets that I got at the Altenew class that was run in Melbourne in April - the pinks are Rose quartz, Puffy Heart and Purple wine, and the greens are Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake and Lagoon. Such a gorgeous combination of colours! I finished with a halo of Copics in BG000 and BG10.

Rainbow thanks

This card is the twin of the one I posted 2 days ago!

The cover die is from Paper rose, cut from a panel of Yupo and Alcohol Inks. The sentiment die and stamp are from Simon Says Stamp.

I'll be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, where the theme is a bright colours mood board.

Rainbow smiles

I made this inlaid die cut card a couple of months ago - and I stuck the panel to the card front before I realised that I'd used two different white cardstocks that don't *quite* match! arrggghhh!

The cover die is from Paper Rose, the smile die is from Cutplorations, and the "just because" stamp is from Clearly Besotted.

Pink congrats

I made this congratulations card a few months ago for a workmate of mine who really likes pink!

I started by inking over a stencil from Gina K with some Distress Oxide ink. I used a leftover piece of yupo with alcohol inks and pink foil, die cut with a heart die and with a Hugs die from Pink and Main over the top. The Congratulations stamp is from Clearly Besotted.

Celebrating Hero Arts' Anniversary

This month is Hero Arts' 45th anniversary - congratulations, Hero Arts! The A Blog Named Hero Facebook team is celebrating along with Hero Arts - the theme of the latest challenge is Celebrate!

I made a panel of Yupo with Alcohol Pearls, then embossed the Leafy Vines cling stamp over it in white. I added a white embossed sentiment from "Many Birthday Messages" on a piece of black cardstock.

Make sure you visit the A Blog Named Hero Facebook page - we have heaps of cardmaking inspiration!

Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!

I used a stamp from Hero Arts "Playful Animals" coloured with Copic markers and a sentiment from Mama Elephant "Birthday Messages". The patterned paper is from my ancient stash - no idea what brand it is!

Blue sympathy card

I haven't posted enough blue recently.

I used the Leafy Circle window die from Paper Rose over a yupo panel with alcohol inks. I can't remember where that sentiment came from (I made this card in March, and my memory is useless).

Happy mother's day to my Mum

Happy Mother's Day to all those mothers out there. This is the card I made for my Mum.

I started with a panel of Yupo with blue and aqua alcohol inks. I then stamped over it with a floral stamp from Wplus9 "Kind Soul" with alcohol lift ink to remove some of the alcohol ink. I added a sentiment die from Simon Says Stamp, and an ancient stamp from Artee Stamps (a company that is no more).

Orange is the new rainbow

Orange is not a colour I use often, except in rainbows! But this card is a heap of yellow, orange, pinks and apricot/peachy tones. There's also rose gold foil on it, too!

I used the Blooming Flowers Background die from Paper Rose, over a panel of Yupo with alcohol inks and foil. The sentiment is from Birch Press.
