Scandi blue for Paper Rose

 Today, I have a simple stenciled card using the Scandi Circle stencil from Paper Rose.

 

I used PinkFresh Studio Sapphire ink to add colour over the Scandi Circle die. I then took a white gel pen and added a heap of dots and swirls and lines over the stenciling. I finished with a sentiment from the Poppies 4x6 stamp set white embossed on royal blue cardstock, and a scattering of Gin and Tonic sequins from Picket Fence Studios.

CAS for A Blog Named Hero

Winter has come to town for Picket Fence Studios

 Today, I'm sharing a one-layer card using the "Winter has come to town" stamp set from Picket Fence Studios.

I masked the houses and ink-blended the sky in dark blues and purple. I added some splatters of Paper Glitz Sparkle in water to the sky to add some shine and texture. I then coloured the buildings and the street with Copic markers.

Finishing off some cards for Picket Fence Studios

Hello! I did a live video over in the Picket Fence Studios Community group on Facebook today, where I made three backgrounds using a new stencil from the September release. Well, I finished those cards, so I thought I'd post them here - if you want to see the video, please go and join our group on Facebook! (the video includes ALLLL the mistakes I made along the way! Alcohol ink mandala for Paper Rose

 I have a birthday card to share today using products from Paper Rose Studio.

 

 I began with a panel of black synthetic paper that I had coloured with alcohol inks and gold foil. I cut the Mandala Flower metal die from white cardstock and adhered it to the alcohol ink panel, then fussy cut around the edges. I added a die cut Birthday and printed sentiment from Black and white Sentiments, and then adhered it to a card front that had a panel of paper from Dip Dye Basics.

 The other day, one of my lovely neighbours rang and asked if I could make her a couple of 50th anniversary cards for friends of hers. I made two the same (except for the names, of course!)

Quick birthday cards for Paper Rose

 Today, I have a set of 14 cards I made using 6 pieces of 6x6 patterned paper and a couple of sheets of printed sentiments from Paper Rose.

I cut each of the 6 patterns of paper in the Floral Bliss patterned paper pack into panels to put onto the front of at least 2 cards each. I varied the cuts to make a variety of layouts. I cut the sentiments from Big Sentiments 1.0 and layered them onto the card fronts, sometimes with a mat of black cardstock. On some cards, I cut thin strips of the patterned paper and used the reverse side to create a border on the edges of the floral panel. On the one card that is not floral, I used offcuts from the other cards to create a rainbow.
