Paint Pour background for Paper Rose

My friend, Michelle Liimatainen of Wild Willow Art, gifted me some pieces of acrylic paint pour on cardstock last year. I've been hoarding them and pulling them out once in a while to admire their beauty, but I thought I'd should really make some cards with some of them!

I cut a white panel using the Blossom Border die, and adhered it to a white card front with a panel of paint behind it. I white embossed the sentiment on a scrap of blue cardstock from my stash, and adhered it to the card front. I finished with a scattering of sequins.

Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day in Australia, so I made these cards for my Dad.

I used alcohol ink on Yupo, with silver foil added before it was totally dry. The sentiment is from a company that no longer exists.

For this 2nd card, I used acrylic paint and camellia leaves on my Gel press. The die cut happy is from Hello Bluebird.

Cute Christmas for A Blog Named Hero

The current challenge at A Blog Named Hero is "Cute", so I pulled out this cute little Christmas elf!

I used the Elves Stamp N Cut set to stamp and cut out the cute little elf. I coloured her with Copic markers, then adhered her with dimensional adhesive over a diagonal background I created with some glitter cardstock. I stamped the sentiment, also from Hero Arts, and I was done!
