I posted a card here last week where I cut a circle out of a stamped and coloured panel. Did you wonder what happened to the circle? Wonder no more!
I stamped the sentiment from Gina K Designs onto some vellum and white heat embossed it. I didn't want it to cover up my coloured circle too much, so I did a bit of creative trimming of the vellum.

1 stencil, 2 cards
I made 2 cards recently, by inking up a new (to me) Hero Arts stencil, but then making 2 impressions from that stencil without re-inking.
Here's the first card:
I coloured in the "bold floral stencil" with some Distress Markers, and then spritzed with some water, and then some Perfect Pearls mist. I then placed some watercolour paper over the top and pressed all over to get a good transfer of colour. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.
I then took the same stencil, without cleaning it, and sprayed some more water over the top, before placing another piece of watercolour card over the top. This resulted in a much more soft and subtle image, perfect for a sympathy card.
The sentiment on this card is a stamp I have had for a VERY long time, from Stamps Happen Inc. I embossed the black sentiment to add a bit more interest, and added some pearls.

Happy birthday with a window
I have a card for you today that I made using stamps from Simon Says Stamp - the "leaves background" stamp, and the "big scripty greetings" set.
I stamped and white embossed the background stamp onto some watercolour cardstock, before smooshing some distress inks directly over the top (straight from the ink pad). I then sprayed the panel with water to blend the colours, and let it dry.
I cut out a circle using a stitched circle die from Lil Inkers, and stamped the sentiment on the card base where the circle would eventually be, then attached the coloured panel with some foam mounting tape. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Blow out the bonfire!
I got a bit inky today - you should have seen how purple and blue my hands were after making this card!
I used the "Shenanigans" stamp set from CASual Fridays stamps.
I'll be sharing this card at the CASual Fridays Challenge blog.

Beautiful sunflower
I made a quick card today, using a heap of new Hero Arts goodies that arrived on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago. (I've been buried in marking and other work, so haven't had a chance to play!)
I used the "large flower stencil" with three different yellow Distress Inks blended over half of it. Then I added a sentiment from the "you're so lovely" stamp set, stamped in the Intense Black ink pad. A few gold and clear sequins from my stash, and I was done!
I'll be sharing this card at the CASology challenge, where the theme is "stencil".

Using up more leftovers
I can't throw anything away. It's an illness.
But when it comes to stamped panels, that's OK if I eventually get around to using the leftovers on a card! (These panels were left over from THIS CARD)

A Long Time Ago........
Last week, there were two birthdays of men in my life - both of whom are fans of Star Wars (one of whom is 6, and the other is 47!) So out came the Neat and Tangled stamp set "A Long Time Ago", and I got very inky!
It was so difficult getting a good photo of this card! I ended up using the camera flash, which I hardly ever do, but it showed up the colour better, without a long exposure which made the photo blurry.

Fusion - Port o' Call Polaroid
Welcome to the latest Fusion challenge! I have made a fusion of the photo and the sketch, but I didn't use the theme of the photo, just the colours and pattern.

Blues and greens for a Happy birthday
I had a desire to get inky. Really inky. So I pulled out some watercolour paper and some Distress Inks.
I used the Mehndi Medallions stamp set from Papertrey Ink (it's an older set), and whitte heat embossed the large medallion onto watercolour paper. I then smooshed Distress Inks in various blue and green colours onto my craft mat, spritzed them with water and dunked my panel into the watery inky puddles. I dried the panel with my heat gun, then repeated this a few times to get the depth of colour, and the splotches of colour I wanted.
The sentiment from Simon Says Stamp was white embossed onto vellum, and wrapped around the watercolour panel, before attaching the whole lot to a white card base. A sprinkling of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh was the final touch.

Edited: after a couple of suggestions, I will be linking this card up at the Inkspirational challenge - Mint and Navy

Wonderful Mother
I made a few Mother's Day cards recently. I masked off a strip for the sentiment and stamped a cascade of flowers.
I used the Pretty Peonies set from Wplus9 with some inks from Hero Arts. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up (retired set, sorry), and I finished with some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
For this card, I placed the masked area for the sentiment a bit lower on the card, and I used a softer pink ink for the 2nd layer on the flowers.

Using up left overs
Remember a few weeks ago I challenged myself to use a stamp in a number of different ways?n (if not, check out the other card I made HERE). Well, I had some of the stamped and coloured panels left over, so I made a Mother's Day card.

Happy new house!
My very good friends, Sharyne and Andrew, recently moved in to their absolutely stunning new home - I visited a couple of weeks ago. I had to make a housewarming card, of course!
Congrats on your totally beautiful home, Sharyne and Andy!
