Happy blogiversary to me!

Today is the 10th anniversary of my blog, so happy blogiversary to me! I thought I would celebrate with a card using my favourite stamp of all time.

Yes, I know, people get upset when I use this Flower Dot Pattern stamp from Hero Arts and Basic Grey, because it is discontinued. I get it, it's a really nice stamp, and it isn't available any more. But that is not going to stop me using it any time soon. I paired it up with a heart die from Pink and Main (I used the heart on a card a week or so ago), a hello die from Ink to Paper, and a printed sentiment strip from Paper Rose Studio.

Thanks for visiting :)

  1. Happy Blogiversary Michelle!! It's a beautiful stamp and beautiful card! I can't understand why people should get upset, we love our stamps (old and new) and we give them inky love whenever we want. Go for it!!

  2. Congratulations Michelle! Beautiful card.
    Keep well

  3. Beautiful card and congrats on ten years. Your card can be recreated using a different background. I don't usually copy a card exactly because I often don't have the same supplies. But I still get great ideas.

  4. Happy Blogiversary! I always like seeing this stamp and I love the colors used in this card.

  5. It's a gorgeous stamp and you've created a beautiful card with it - and I don't see anything to be upset about when someone uses a retired stamp (there's many more important things to be upset about!). Happy Anniversary!

  6. Happy Blogiversary. Such a pretty background stamp and really is a keeper.

  7. Happy blogiversary. I always give a little squeal of delight whenever I see this stamp on your blog because I love the pattern. I'd much rather see a well loved stamp used repeatedly, regardless of whether it's discontinued or not. One of my stamps is over 35 years old and I continue to reach for it time and time again. If it brings YOU joy, go for it with gusto. (Just as long as you share it with the rest of us, LOL!)
