Hello! Today, I'm sharing a card using the super intricate Audrey Circle Mandala die from Paper Rose Studio.
I used one of the blue copic markers to swipe the edges of a white card base, then adhered my panel to the card so that there was a narrow border showing all around. I added some faux stitching likes to this border for some added interest. I finished with a white embossed sentiment on a strip of black cardstock, and some gemstones.
So, here's the deal. I'm not a fan of olives. The plant itself is perfectly fine, and olive oil is fabulous, but olives themselves are not my thing.
So when I was this new stamp set from Hero Arts, I didn't see olives. I saw Lilly Pillies. (In Australia, we have plants commonly known as Lilly Pilly that have red to purple berries similar in shape and size to olives. The leaves are a slightly different shape to olive leaves, but I'm taking some artistic license here!
The Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero challenge this month is to use up your scraps. I dug through my coloured cardstock scraps to create the rainbow background for the Looking Glass Birthday Party dies.

Sympathy cards are some of the most difficult to make. I try to keep them simple and elegant.
Today, I'm sharing a floral card for Paper Rose Studio.
I started by masking the bottom of a panel of white cardstock, and then stamped the Hayley's Bouquet stamp in the top part of the card. I coloured the image with Copic markers. I also used one of the pale R copic markers to colour the edges of my card base. I stamped the sentiment from Modern Poppies in Versamark ink onto black cardstock, and white embossed the sentiment. I cut the sentiment down with some fussy cutting around the letters below the main line of the sentiment, adhered the sentiment banner to my coloured panel, and adhered it to my card front. I finished with some subtle gemstones.

I made this card with dies from Paper Rose, some yupo with alcohol inks and hot pink foil, plus some inks and a sentiment stamp from Hero Arts.
