This window die is called "Groovy Window", but to me, it looks like an art nouveau pattern (reminds me of the Metro station signs in Paris), or maybe a design from the Arts and Crafts movement from the late 19th/early 20th century. However, I paired it with a rainbow, so it fits the late 60s/early 70s aesthetic!

Today, I'm sharing a card for Paper Rose Studio.
I cut a piece of rainbow paper from the Rainbow Garden Basics 6x6 Paper Collection to cover half of my card front and added a border of faux stitching with a white gel pen. I chose three dragonflies from the Rainbow Garden Insects Embossed Die Cuts and adhered them with foam adhesive. I finished the card with a birthday sentiment from Super Day Sentiments.

I had half of a panel left over from a card I made a couple of weeks ago, using the Rose Background stamp from Colorado Craft Company, so I coloured it (slightly differently to the last card I made!)

Today, I'm sharing a cute little birthday card for Paper Rose Studio.
I stamped the little girl from the Flowers for Teddy Clear Stamp set onto some white cardstock with a Copic friendly black ink. I coloured the image with Copic markers, paper pieced her dress with some paper from the Hello Little Girl card kit, and trimmed the image down. I cut a second piece of white cardstock to be slightly larger, and coloured the edges with the darkest pink that I used in the image. I adhered the two panels together and added a border of faux stitching with a white gel pen. I used the same patterned paper that I used for her dress to cover half of the card front, adhered the image over the top, and added a sentiment from the same card kit.

The card I posted yesterday was a bit outside my comfort zone - both because it was a 5x7 card, and because it had 3D elements, and because it had SO MANY 3D elements!
This card uses the same die set from Spellbinders, but is much more my style!

There are a heap of new Betterpress products being released today from Spellbinders! Among the release is an alphabet of Betterpress floral letters and coordinating sentiments. I used two of the sets on the Betterpress, and two of the sets on the Glimmer machine. Love that they're versatile that way!

There's a new release from Spellbinders today - this die set was totally outside of my comfort zone, but I ended up making a card that I love! And it's a 5x7 card - not a size I often make!
