Today, I'm part of an Instagram hop celebrating the release of two new collections from Hero Arts!
Welcome to Case me a Christmas Card 2025 - a Christmas Card series!
Throughout October, there will be a series of 10 hops – two YouTube hops, and eight Instagram hops. Each hop involves participants CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) a card from the next person, drawing inspiration while each creating a Christmas Card. And you can join in!
Background
This series began in November 2016 as a personal challenge to explore different Christmas card styles, with friends suggesting creative ideas. Over time, more cardmakers joined, leading to a format where participants CASE each other's cards. A helpful video by Ardyth Percy Robb outlines a 5-step CASE process—check it out HERE.
This year
This year is a bit different, because I'd love for you to join in! You can join in by making your own CASE, or by commenting on the stops on the hop (either on IG or on YT).
I'm over the moon excited to share that some amazingly generous companies that I love are offering some super generous prizes!

Your turn!
Now, you’re invited to join! CASE a card from any hop participant, share your creation via the Inlinkz below (that will also be added to each of my blog posts), and you could win a prize from one of our amazing sponsors! Or comment on any of the stops on the hop for a chance to win, too!
To link up your CASE me a Christmas Card project, first share it publicly somewhere you can copy the link – this can be your blog, Instagram, a Flickr account, your Splitcoast gallery – anywhere that allows you to have a URL or website location to link up, and where we can see your post.
By linking your project, you are giving me permission to feature your card on my blog and social media, crediting you as the artist.
Entries close on the 7th of November at 6am AEDT (Melbourne time) - which is 6th of Nov, 12 noon Pacific Time.
All the fun begins on the 1st of October, so keep a lookout for my post then!

Today, I'm sharing an interactive baby card I made using products from Trinity Stamps, Paper Rose Studio and Hero Arts.
Today, I'm sharing four cards I made using the Christmas Holly suite of products from Paper Rose Studio.
I created a panel of faux embossing by cutting a HEAP of holly leaves and berries from white cardstock.I then adhered the holly leaves and berries to a 5.5x8.5 inch piece of white cardstock in a random pattern with liquid adhesive. When I was done, I cut of anything hanging off the edges, and ran it through my die cutting machine without any die to make sure they were adhered firmly, before using the panel to make four cards. Thanks for visiting :)
I love using layering stencils that create a 6x6 panel - it means I can usually get at least three cards from one panel!
Today, I'm sharing a simple card, a fancy fold card, and an acetate card, all using the Woodland Christmas B paper from Paper Rose Studio.
Today, I'm joining in with all of the fun of Stamptember for Simon Says Stamp! They very kindly sent me this Hero Arts collaboration stamp set, and of course, I went rainbow. I also returned to my first cardmaking love - Clean and Simple!
The September Stay Crafty challenge with A Blog Named Hero is based on the song "September" - which has the lyrics "chasing the clouds away", so we're making cards with clouds! I created a panel of rainbow cards, so I made two cards!
