I recently made some large 5x7 cards for a friend, and I had some leftovers of the patterned panels I made, so here's another "using up leftovers" post! I used Magenta Nuance watercolour powders on these panels.

Today, I'm sharing a card using the new Pistachio layering dies from Altenew. Their keyhole system makes layering the dies really easy!
Today, I'm sharing a card for the current Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero challenge! The theme is Bits and pieces, and that's what I used for the background of my card - I created a patchwork of cardstock!

I'm excited to share that I will be sharing more Altenew projects for the next few months as an Altenew Ambassador!
For this card, I used the Lovely Rose Peony stamp set and coordinating stencils on this card. I used Worn Lipstick and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink on the flowers, Crushed Olive and Mowed Lawn on the leaves, and Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers on the Vase. I use Peacock Feathers on the background as well - I stamped the outline floral image to add some interest to the background. The sentiment is from the Billowing Peonies stamp set, white embossed onto black cardstock. I added a black and white layered mat behind the floral to provide a visual break between the main image and the background.
