Muse #91

Playing along with Muse card club challenge #91 today - Michele Ferguson has challenged us to make three cards in a matching set using one piece of patterned paper.  I modified the challenge slightly - I've made a piece of patterned paper myself using a background stamp, embossing, and watercolour pencils. I've then cut it down to use on three cards.
Card # 1 - I used a horizontal panel across a portrait card, with a black sentiment stamped on vellum over the top.  A red bow was the finishing touch.
Card #2 - for this one, I decided to do some fussy cutting.
Card # 3 - I added some ribbon to make the panel look like a candy cane, or maybe a wrapped Christmas present :)
And here's a pic of all three together:

Thanks for visiting :)  Have a great day!

  1. Lovely cards! My favorite is the ribbon candy cane version.

  2. Very lovely Michelle! Love that you went the extra mile making your own patterned paper, and really love the white embossing on that brilliant red! Thank you for playing cards with me!

  3. Love your trio Michelle ! I especially love that fab red satin ribbon!

Thank you so much for your comments - they always make my day!
