I love doing watercolour resist techniques over background stamps that have lots of enclosed spaces - I end up getting lots of different shades of the same colour depending on how much water and ink ended up in that space. Add in a ombre colour scheme, and there are so many different colours!
I'm joining in with the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp - the theme is Anything Goes.

Fusion: Easter
Welcome to a new Fusion challenge!
Thanks for visiting :)
I tried to make a fusion of the photo and the sketch, but the sketch just wouldn't cooperate with my card! So I went just with the photo :)

Ranunculus Birthday
I made this card back in early February, and forgot to post it here. Silly me.
I used the Beautiful Bouquet Ranunculus stamp set from Wplus9, with a sentiment from Clearly Besotted. The little gems are from Studio Katia.

If you're looking for the A Blog Named Hero blog hop, please click HERE!
Today, I have a special card that I have popped in the mail for Lesley Croghan. Lesley and her husband Corey are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a little baby girl! So Lori Turner has organised a blog hop in their honour :)
If you would like to see all of the rest of the cards for Lesley, you can check out the Inlinkz on Lori Turner's blog.

A Blog Named Hero Anniversary Blog Hop!
Hello! Welcome to my stop on the A Blog Named Hero Anniversary Blog Hop!
You should have come from the blog of one of my current team mates at A Blog Named Hero, Donna Idlet, but if you haven't, make sure you check out the post at A Blog Named Hero, where you will find the complete list of hop participants for today.
We're all making cards with out favourite Hero Arts product - for me, that would have to be my favourite Hero Arts background stamp. Tragically, it is no longer available *sob!*
I used Flower Dot Pattern, which I white embossed and then coloured with my Zig markers and lots of water. I have a lot of favourites among my Hero Arts stash, but I keep on coming back to this stamp over and over again.
I chose this sentiment for this card because that is the way I feel about A Blog Named Hero. I feel so very lucky to be a part of this family of crazy talented papercrafters. I have some very special friends who are either A Blog Named Hero designers, alumni, or special guests. They're my people. (I'll stop now - I'm getting all teary!)
But I couldn't stop there - I have a card using the same background stamp, with a Hero Arts sentiment that fits my feelings for this background stamp perfectly:
I've had people ask on previous blog posts and on Instagram how I do this technique, so I decided to make a video!

What does this fox say at A Blog Named Hero?
I have a card over at A Blog Named Hero - the challenge this month is to Bling It Up, so I have added some awesome sequins from Studio Katia, and paired up some of her stamps and a die with a fox from Hero Arts.
Make sure you visit A Blog Named Hero to check out the rest of the design team's creations, and to enter your own card - with plenty of bling!
