Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!
I completely ignored the sketch this time and just went with some of the elements of the photo. I also went uber clean and simple! I had to do some fossicking through my scraps of patterned paper to find the red and white polka dot patterned paper! The sentiment is from Create a Smile.
I hope you join us for this challenge - make sure you visit the Fusion challenge blog to check it out!

Using up leftovers again!
I just love it when I can make two cards for the price of one!
I made a card for A Blog Named Hero a couple of weeks ago that had a circle cut out of a larger panel - well, this is where the circle ended up!
I'll be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, where they're playing with Hero Arts products, and their theme is Anything Goes!

Using up leftovers on a card
Do you remember the floral bouquet card I posted at A Blog Named Hero last month? Well, I had a flower left over, so I had to use it up!
The flower and leaves are from Winnie and Walter, and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. The edge is embossed with a stitched rectangle die from Lil' Inkers Designs.

Green happy birthday
Not entirely sure I'm happy with this card - I keep thinking I should have just cut the panels straight across, rather than try to follow the pattern in the MFT background stamp to create an opening in the panel for the sentiment. Not sure. What do you think?
I stamped the Floral Fantasy background stamp from My Favorite Things onto watercolour paper, then white embossed. I coloured with 4 different green/teal Zig markers, and sprayed with water and heat set. Colour, water, heat, repeat until happy. The sentiment is from Clearly Gina K, white embossed onto a pool notecard from Hero Arts.

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC 181
Welcome to a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
I used Pretty Posies along with a sentiment from So Pretty. I masked a strip across the card before stamping with Versamark and white embossing, then masking and stamping some more. When I removed the mask, I drew in two white lines with white gel pen, and stamped and embossed the sentiment. I added some white enamel dots and Wink of Stella, then rounded the corners as the finishing touch.

CAS-ual Fridays / StampNation Masterclass!
I am so excited! Today, I have a post and a video up at StampNation for their masterclass with CAS-ual Fridays! Yay!
The class is all about Cards with Sass. I made rainbow cards using CAS-ual Fridays stamps and dies with Catherine Pooler inks - I showed various ways to add some detail and texture to a watercoloured background, all with sassy CAS-ual Fridays sentiments. Here's a sneak peek of one of the cards I made:
I hope to see you over at StampNation!

Embossing challenge at A Blog Named Hero
Hello! Our challenge at A Blog Named Hero this month is Embossing, and we're playing with products from WOW! I was sent some gorgeous teal foil, so I did some embossing with foil!
Now this card looks OK in my first photo, but nothing much, really. But now look at this next photo!
Look at all that shine and dimension! I started with some pool layering paper from hero Arts, and used Decofoil transfer gel over the Deco Pattern Stencil from Hero Arts, then used my mini Minc machine to add the teal foil from WOW! I then stamped the sentiment (an older wood block stamp from Hero Arts) in Versafine onyx black ink onto vellum, and embossed with ultra fine clear embossing powder from Hero Arts.
Have you entered our August challenge yet?

Happy birthday, Krista
Today is my workmate Krista's birthday - she loves pink, so I made this card for her.
I used the Heart Mandala stencil from Simon Says Stamp, inked in Distress Inks, then added a vellum heart, with a sentiment from Avery Elle stamped and embossed, and die cut from hot pink foil cardstock. I added some sequins to help hide the adhesive behind the vellum.

Rainbow hello
After making a card with a die cut rainbow earlier this week, I had a pile of colourful circles left over. Seeing as I couldn't arrange them into any more rainbows (don't even THINK of putting them in the wrong order!), I decided to try something different. I love making cards out of leftovers!!
I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts "Hello stamp & cut" set.

Have a lovely rainbowy day
Inspired again by Laura Bassen to make this textured rainbow card for the Online Card Class:
I used Wendy Vecchi embossing paste coloured with Distress Inks (need to get some reinkers so I can get more intense colour with some of these), applied over the Heart Mandala stencil from Simon Says Stamp, with a die cut and stamped sentiment, both from Concord & 9th.

Rainbow tons of fun
More rainbow goodness today, with an elephant blowing bubbles :)
I scribbled my Zig markers onto my craft mat to use it as a palette, then painted circles starting from the bottom right, going up to the top left. I left room to stamp and colour the little elephant from MFT "Adorable Elephants", along with a fitting sentiment. I added some clear Wink of Stella to some of the bubbles as a finishing touch.
I'll be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday challenge - the theme this week is "for a child".

Rainbow thanks
If you're looking for my CAS-ual Fridays Challenge post, please click HERE!
I have another rainbow-y card for you today for the Online Card Class Rainbow Maker. I loved Laura Bassen's ink smooshing technique - I don't remember if I've ever used this exact technique before, but it's fun!
I used a die and matching stamp from Simon Says Stamp for the sentiment - I stacked 3 of the die cuts to give a bit more oomph to the word "thanks".

Welcome to the new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
I used the Starlequin background, white embossed onto watercolour cardstock and coloured with Zig markers and water, plus some Wink of Stella. I added a sentiment from Wall Flower, and then fussy cut around the edge of the Starlequin image before mounting the panel onto a pale bluee card base. I sponged the edge of the card with a little bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, too. Some sequins were the finishing touch.
Make sure you check out the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog for more inspiration from the Girl Fridays, and join in on our challenge!

Rain or Shine
I was inspired by a card by Cathy Zielske in today's Online Card Class:
I used some nesting circle dies for the rainbow, and Stitched Cloud Border die from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
I thought it needed some shine, but I didn't want to add sequins, so I sprayed the rainbow with some Perfect Pearls Powder in water.

Rainbow shenanigans
I love this sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays - it makes me chuckle every time I see it! And I love a rainbow, so I'm thoroughly enjoying the latest Online Card Class. I didn't have much time between work and choir tonight, so it's a pretty simple card.
