It was my sister and brother-in-law celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary earlier this month. My parents gave them a beautiful plate that had belonged to my grandmother, so I made this card to match the plate.
The floral stamp is from Penny Black, white embossed and coloured with Zig markers, and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.

Rainbow and an elephant for Muse
I'm playing along with the MUSE card club today.
This week's MUSE is Bharati Nayudu of Handmade Happiness (love that blog name!) ,
I stamped and white embossed a background stamp from Hero Arts that is now discontinued (why oh why do companies discontinue stamps that I love?? WHY????) and coloured it with Zig markers and water. I added the black stripes using a stamp from Impression Obsession, and the elephant and balloon are from MFT.
I'll also be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is Anything Goes.

Rainbow thanks
Not enough rainbows on this blog lately, so I decided to fix that.
I used inks from Catherine Pooler to paint the rainbow background over the white embossed "thanks" stamp from Simon Says Stamp. I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die, sprayed it with Perfect Pearls in water, and added a white embossed sentiment from the new release from Simon Says Stamp and Cathy Zielske Design.

Love you
I love combining sentiments from different stamp sets and different fonts - the new "Tabbed Sentiments" from the "Friendly Frolic" release from Simon Says Stamp is fabulous for this!
I combined the "Love you" from Thoughtful Messages with "for all time" from Tabbed Sentiments - I cut the stamp in half, because it actually says "recorded for all time" - more appropriate for a scrapbook page, methinks, which is why this stamp set is so versatile!

Pink birthday
More alcohol inks. So sue me!
I used a pale pink foil over the pink alcohol inks (bit of a change from my usual gold). The happy birthday die is from Simon Says Stamp - the little stamped sentiment is from their Friendly Frolic release, that goes live today! So many sentiments, great for scrapbooking or cardmaking - very versastile!
I'll be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is Anything Goes.

Happy birthday flower
I finally got around to using an alcohol ink background with gold foil on it that I made a couple of months ago!
The die is from Simon Says Stamp, and the sentiment stamps are from Altenew.

Birthday trellis
I'm always in need of birthday cards, so I make them whenever I can.
I used the Stained Glass cover plate die from Catherine Pooler, and a sentiment from Papertrey Ink. I actually used 4 different colours of Distress Oxide inks on the background, but it looks like I just used two colours in the photo!

Fuchsia birthday
Love these Fuchsias from Avery Elle!
I cut the flowers with the matching dies, coloured them with Copics, and added some Wink of Stella all over the petals and sepals.

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC204
Welcome to a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
I used the heart image from "Peace, love and coffee" to stamp a rainbow of butterflies. I added a sentiment from "Heartfelt Sayings" over the top. I finished off the butterflies by adding a body and antennae with a fine black marker, and added Star Dust Stickles to the butterfly wings.
Make sure you check out the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog for more inspiration from the Girl Fridays, and join in on our challenge!

Happy Birthday for A Blog Named Hero
There's a new challenge at A Blog Named Hero, and it is to make a birthday card, which is great, because I am always in need of birthday cards!
I made the background with alcohol inks on Yupo. The sentiment is from Hero Arts :Many Birthday Messages", with a gold foil cardstock mat. The gold is to pick up the tiny bits of gold foil stuck to the alcohol ink background.

Red roses
I hope you're not getting sick of seeing this stamp, because I'm not about to stop using it!
I coloured the image with Copic markers, and then added a sentiment from Hero Arts. I finished with some Wink of Stella, a border of hand-drawn faux-stitching, and some sequins.

Wavy panels
Trying some different ways of using up alcohol ink backgrounds.
I added gold foil on top of the not-quite-dry alcohol ink, then cut the panel with stitched hillside borders dies from Lawn Fawn. The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink.

Rainbow hello
I have a shiny, glittery, rainbow hello for you today!
I used the leftovers of a rainbow panel I made for a card last month. I die cut the "Hello" from Create a Smile, then added a liberal coat of Wink of Stella, then a thick coat of Glossy Accents. I added a white embossed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp on a strip of black cardstock, and I was done.

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC 203
Welcome to a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
I used the Full on Floral background stamp to white emboss onto watercolour cardstock, and coloured it with pink and purple Zig markers. The sentiment is from Sassy Smiles - I inked it up in two different Hero Arts shadow inks, but then blended the middle with a coloured pencil to get a better ombre blend.
Make sure you check out the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog for more inspiration from the Girl Fridays, and join in on our challenge!
