One of my workmates, Danielle, is expecting her first baby very soon, so I made this card to go with a gift from me and a bunch of my workmates.
I used the kaleidoscope background stamp from Simon Says Stamp wmbossed onto watercolour paper, coloured with Zig markers, then added a die from Papertrey Ink, and a stamped "congratulations" also from Simon.

Autumn leaves for A Blog Named Hero
The new challenge at A Blog Named Hero is a colour scheme - it is very autumnal, so I pulled out some leaf dies from Hero Arts.
I made a background using alcohol inks on Yupo, using inks that match the colour scheme (I probably could have added a bit more of the dark purple). I added some foil in copper, rose gold and yellow gold while the panel was still slightly tacky. I cut the panel down on an angle, and also cut some leaves from the other piece using "textured leaves" dies. I mounted the leaves onto die-cut white card, slightly offset to show a bit of the white. I added a sentiment from "You're so Lovely" from Hero Arts.

Fun and Festive
The new "Fun and Festive" release at Simon Says Stamp went live last week, and I received mine today! I'm so happy to have the Tiny Words Christmas set - so totally versatile, it will be my go-to set this Christmas!
I used the Winter Flowers set from Simon Says Stamp to white emboss the poinsettia onto watercolour card. I cut a square using a stitched rectangle die from Lil Inkers, and then coloured the image with Zig markers. I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock and white embossed it, before adhering it to a side folding white card base.

Alcohol ink, yupo, lift ink and a mistake
So, this weird background came about because of a mistake. I made an alcohol ink background, then used Lift Ink with some Altenew stamps on it. I cut it in half and made one card (I posted that one last month), but then I used a stamp cleaner to spray on the stamps, and some of the cleaner got on the yupo and removed some of the alcohol ink. I thought it was ruined, but I looked at it again and decided it was interesting.

CAS-ual Fridays: CFC 210
Welcome to a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays!
I used stamps from Somebunny and the matching Fri-dies, and I coloured the bunny with Copic markers. I then hand-cut a mask in the shape of clouds for the background, and inked over it on a pink card base using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink. I made another inked panel for the bottom of the card, and then added some faux stitching around the edges. I finished with some Star Dust Stickles on the stars.
Make sure you check out the CAS-ual Fridays challenge blog for more inspiration from the Girl Fridays, and join in on our challenge!
