I played along with Craft Roulette yesterday - the parameters were wintry colours, patterned paper, paper strips, and pretend. (The colours of the bird are my pretend element!)

When I was young, my brother owned a detailed globe of the world. It had a gold coloured base and arm, so when I saw this die from Hero Arts, I knew I had to emboss the base and arm of this globe in gold.
Always trying to build up my stash of birthday cards!

How many cards do you send just because? I've sent a lot more of them since 2020. I usually send hugs cards or hello cards, but I sometimes send just a note.
Today, I'm sharing a birthday card using products from Paper Rose Studio.
I cut the Etched Flowers dies from white cardstock, and blended some Distress Oxide inks around the edges, before adhering the layers together. I cut a panel of paper from the Peony Garden paper pack and adhered it to the centre of a top folding white card base, adhered the flowers, then finished with a printed sentiment from Big black and white sentiments.
Spellbinders has a new release today - the Santa Lane Collection includes stickers, glitter die cuts, shaker mixes and various other Christmassy ephemera! I was lucky enough to be sent some of these products to play with, so here's some of the cards I made with them!
This card in particular was VERY difficult to photograph, so I will post a quick reel showing these cards to Instagram - the shine will be clearer to see in the video :)
