Two for one Peonies

 My friend Esther gave me a very generous gift for Christmas, and bought the same for herself, so we decided to use our new crafty goodies to each make a project and post them together! Make sure you visit @escards on Instagram (click HERE) to see what Essie has made!

I stamped and stenciled the Billowing Peonies stamp once on a large piece of cardstock, cut it with the coordinating die, and cut it down carefully to create two cards from the one image!

Floral hello for Paper Rose

 Today, I'm sharing a card I made for Paper Rose Studio.

I began with some watercolour paper. I stamped and white embossed the Blossom Bouquet clear stamp four times around the edge of the panel. I used the ink smooshing technique to add some soft colour to the background, before adding more intense colour to the flowers and leaves using watercolour pencils. I cut the Fancy Script Layered Hello die from dark pink cardstock and adhered it to the centre of the panel, and adhered the panel to a white card base.

Hero Arts January 2025 Hero Studio Blog Hop & Giveaway

There's a new release at Hero Arts, and members of the Creative Team are hopping to celebrate! If you need to make some Valentine cards, this release is for you! 

For this first card, I cut the Love & Hearts Fancy Die many times from Luxe white watercolor paper and adhered them to a panel of watercolor paper. I sprayed the panel with pink, purple and red metallic spray and let it dry before cutting it down and adhering to a white card base. I cut the sentiment from gold glitter cardstock, layered it on a heart cut from vellum, and added some gold sequins.

 

For my 2nd card, I created a rainbow of hearts with the January Hero Studio Layering Stencils of the month. I added the envelope and the sentiment from the January Fancy Dies set, Floral Envelope.

For my 3rd project, I used the Folded Love Note Fancy Die to create this secret love note, held closed with a layered scalloped heart belly band.
